You Should Try: Black Up Cosmetics

Sin

While I was in Paris, I had the chance to try Black Up Cosmetics. As I was making my rounds through Sephora, I saw a makeup stand that looked foreign to me. Now, I'd heard about Black Up Cosmetics for years. I've seen reviews of the products on youtube and even read blog posts about it. I never saw the product in person however. So you could imagine my sheer joy when I spotted the display.

Blushes!

Blushes!

One of makeup artists at Sephora in the Parisian store I happened to be in, was an American woman who came to study makeup in Paris. She was so delightful and pointing me towards all the amazing goodies Black Up Cosmetics offered. The line appears to be geared at women of color with the amazingly pigmented blushes and the wide array of foundations.

Foundations!

Foundations!

There were so many colors of foundations. It was so inspiring to see that this line carried the darkest of dark shades to the lightest of light. I loved how there were foundations to fit every skin type from oily to dry as well.

Of course I had to pick up some blush, lipsticks, and foundation. I could not escape Paris without getting some of the country's equivalent to Fashion Fair! I am absolutely pleased with my products and they are not staples in my collection of makeup.
