Fall is a great time of year but it can be confusing for your foundation. Here in Brooklyn, it has been an exciting 70 plus degrees. Next week however the temperature is expected to drop to the 60s and 50s. Although I have dry skin, I love a semi-matte foundation look. In order to maintain a great look in Autumn, I have mix my summer routine with my winter routine.
Start with a clean face. Then apply a dimethicone layer to the face as a primer. I use Monistat Chafing Powder gel because it's easily accessible and it's cheap.
Use a stippling brush to apply a very thin coat of AJ Crimson dual skin creme foundation (I'm a 6.5). For my dry skin, this foundation works perfect. It also comes in a range of amazing colors for darker skin tones.
Brush a thin coat of Sephora MicroSmooth to the skin (I'm shade Deep 60).
Spray a coat of Skindinavia Finishing Spray all over your face. This will help lock your makeup in all day long.
